Lauren Chenarides is an Assistant Professor at the Morrison School of Agribusiness at Arizona State University. She’s a recent transplant to the Southwest, having moved to Arizona in August 2017 from New York. Lauren found the art of storytelling by listening to podcasts like The Moth and Snap Judgement, and she decided to hone her craft by taking her first class, Creating and Telling Personal Stories, with Liz Warren at the Storytelling Institute at South Mountain Community College in the fall of 2018. Lauren not only uses storytelling as a means of creative expression but also integrates these techniques to complement her work in academia, such as grant writing, preparing lectures, and giving pitches.
