Bill Goodykoontz learned to read from his grandmother's Addams Family collections. His plans to become a professional basketball player sadly stalled when he stopped getting any taller after seventh grade. He’s been a police reporter, a city and county government reporter, a features columnist, a sports columnist, TV critic, an editor, a writer covering pop culture, a movie critic, and now a media critic. He thinks The Simpsons is the greatest TV show ever, “Holy War” is his favorite Matthew Sweet song, and the Washington Redskins are his favorite team in all of sports.
